Exploring design possibilities of weaving techniques such as warp and weft distortions, Gridlines consists of a series of woven fabrics with intricate grid patterns in both contrasting and matching neutral tones. Taking inspiration from the typewriter art of Carl Andre, linen / cotton blended woven fabric in blue accentuates the linear grid pattern, resembling abstract line drawings on graph paper, whereas the ones in neutral tones enhance the texture and the subtle sheen of linen.
